Resurgence

So, as you may have noticed, I stopped blogging there for a bit.  Partly life just caught up to me. It's a bummer needing to work for a living, especially at a job that constantly requires you to work more than 40 hours a week, no matter how much you like that job. But partly I think the focus of the blog wasn't quite the right fit for me- I love reading but feeling like I needed to churn out thrice weekly book reviews wasn't the most fun state of mind.

Reading remains one of the great loves of my life, so I'll be continuing with book reviews.  But I have other loves in my life too, and I've decided they also have a place here.

So welcome to what I hope will be my new and improved blogging journey-a place where I can keep talking about books, but also about all the other things that interest me and consume my life.

For example, Bingley and Darcy, my favorite kitties, who were so helpful when I decided to work from home the other day when they fell asleep on my work notes. Unfortunately these aren't the best pictures I took, but when they were cutest you could see client names, a big no-no in my line of work.

It's hard to believe they are over a year old- I feel like I just got them yesterday!

Bingley has the white paws if you want to keep them straight... Darcy is more uniform in color, but I think they look a little like orange tigers with their stripes!
